About the Conference Proceedings Series
RevSALUS, owned by the Lusophone Academic Network of Health Sciences (RACS), is an international scientific publication in Portuguese language with open access, with the purpose of promoting the dissemination of scientific production, strengthening international cooperation in the context of research, teaching, development and innovation in all areas of health or applied to them.
RevSALUS identifies with the mission and objectives of RACS, promoting training and scientific cooperation in the area of health sciences among higher education institutions and research centers in Portuguese-speaking countries and communities, in the international Lusophone space in a context of research, development and innovation.
The promotion and dissemination of the scientific production in health sciences in the international Portuguese-speaking space is one of the strategic pillars of RACS, framed within its statutory purposes and objectives, thus contributing to "stimulate and strengthen international cooperation in the context of research, development and innovation" (Article 3).
Editorial Profile
It publishes articles in Portuguese and English in its online edition, in all areas of the health sciences. It regularly includes original articles on clinical or basic research, thematic reviews, short communications, clinical cases, experience reports, images in health sciences, editorials, scientific opinion articles, critical reviews, letters to the editor and biographical highlights of the editorial team or authors.
All articles are peer-reviewed before being accepted for publication by experts designated by the editors. Submission of an article to RevSALUS implies that it has never been published and is not under evaluation for publication in another journal.
The journal has free submission and publication exclusively for authors who are members of RACS - Rede Académica das Ciências da Saúde da Lusofonia. Authors from institutions that are not members of RACS are obliged to pay for article processing charges if their article is accepted for publication.
Upon acceptance of the article, the authors are responsible for the translation of the article, being the linguistic review of the translation assured by RevSALUS. A request for certification of translation may be made if necessary.
The papers submitted for publication are property of RevSALUS, according to Creative Commons - Attribution 4.0 International. All authors must send the declaration of originality, conferring these rights to RevSALUS - International Scientific Journal of RACS at the time the articles are accepted for publication.
Frequency
RevSALUS is published continuously, since 2022, with three issues per year (February-June-October). It may publish, extraordinarily, special issues to be defined by the Editorial Board.
Format
RevSALUS is open access, available online, in digital format, and in paper format (issues published in 2019).
